RMC Medical Research depends upon volunteers and invites interest from individuals to register for selection for our clinical research trials. We require different age groups, genders and ethnicities. All of our research studies are undertaken, following strict international and local guidelines on the conducting studies.
This kind of research is vital and by volunteering you will be helping future sufferers.
RMC Medical Research Ltd has been conducting clinical trials for a number of years.
All of our various research studies undertaken follow strict procedural guidelines. As well, each research study
is reviewed by an independent group of people - a research ethics committee, to protect your rights,
safety, well-being and dignity.

Current Studies
We are currently looking for volunteers to take part in the following clinical trials. If you are interested please complete the online form and we will get back to you with more information.
>> Do you have Type 2 Diabetes
- Are you between 40-85 years of age?
- Do you take Metformin?
- Are you currently taking either an oral diabetes medication or no diabetes medication at all?
- Not taking insulin
If your answers are YES then you may be suitable to take part in a study of 400 weeks duration to measure the effect of a new potential treatment on diabetes management.
Eligible participants receive:
• All study-related care and study medication at no cost.
>> Do you have COPD? (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
- Do you smoke or have you been a smoker?
- Are you 40-80 years of age?
- Is your COPD relatively stable?
You may be eligible to take part in a research study of a potential new medicine to treat COPD.

RMC Medical is seeking volunteers to participate in a clinical research study of an investigational medication.
To qualify for this research you must be 65 years of age or older.
Please consult with your doctor if you are eligible to participate in this clinical study.
You will be compensated for time and travel.
The safety and efficacy of this investigational medication has not yet been proven.
>> Have you been diagnosed with Asthma?
- Are you between 12 – 75 years of age?
- Are you a Non-Smoker?
- Does your asthma wake you up at night? Do you wheeze? Does your asthma worsen and limit your activities even though you routinely take your asthma medications?
- Willing to participate in a 52 week study?
If you answered YES to all of the above then you MAY be eligible to participate in a research study.

Do you suffer from high cholesterol and are on a Statin? If so we would like to hear from you.
